Review: Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balms
So I've finally given in and bought a couple of the Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balms, the 2 for £10 offer in Boots did help persuade me. By now everyone has heard of and seen a lip crayon and pretty much every brand has released their take on the product. For me the Revlon ones stand out because they have such a wide colour range and several different finishes. I decided to go for the matte balms as I don't have any other matte lip colours in my collection.
I was instantly drawn to Showy, it's such a beautiful bright blue-toned pink. Audacious is a bright coral that does look a bit daunting but it actually looks really nice on, and it's a nice alternative to pink for the summer.
I absolutely love the formula of these, they are so creamy and apply so easily. They leave a velvety matte finish that doesn't dry out the lips or look chalky. They last around 4 hours before needing to be re-applied, but if you're eating or drinking whilst wearing these the colour will wear off a lot quicker.
The only thing I'm not fussed on about these is the peppermint scent, it's not overpowering or anything but I just don't love it. Thankfully it does disappear after a while.
Overall I really love these balms and they're the perfect lip product for Summer. Have you tried any of the Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balms?

You have some great shades!! They are both so bright and bold! Sometimes I can find them a little drying when they start to fade away but thats nothing a little lip balm can't fix! :D
