Old Favourites Revisited
I've been blogging for over a year now which means that I've mentioned and reviewed a lot of products along the way. Many of these have also featured in monthly favourites posts. I don't like mentioning the same products too many times on my blog because I think it can become quite repetitive and boring. However, I thought it would be interesting to revisit some old favourites and see if I feel the same way about them now as I did when I first blogged about them.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette// When I didn't have this I thought my makeup collection was incomplete without it, now I have it I very rarely use it. Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful palette, but I just don't think the shades work for me and I hardly ever reach for it. I think the original palette is hard to beat.
Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil// When I first got this I absolutely loved it and I still fell the same way about it now. I use this twice a week as part of my evening skincare routine and can definitely say that it has improved my skin. It has definitely helped to rebalance my skin as it isn't oily as it used to be. A little of this definitely goes a long way, I've been using it since April and still have over half a bottle left.
Topshop Cream Blush// I went through a phase of loving cream blushers, that phase is over. I just find that I reach for powder blush much more now and all of my cream blushers have been pushed to the back. I do love the colour of 'Head Over Heels' though as it is very natural looking. I'm sure I'll go back to using cream blush at some point in the future.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm// As the photo suggests, this product is almost completely used up, that's a testament to how much I love this lip balm. I cannot go a night without applying this before I go to bed. A lip balm like this is essential at this time of year as the cold weather can really dry out your lips. I'm going to have to pick up a replacement pot of this in the next couple of weeks.
So it seems that my opinions on some products have changed over time. Have any of you changed your mind about a product you have picked up in the past, something you used to love but no longer use as much?
