Boots and Lush Haul

My last few hauls have contained high end beauty and skincare products so I thought it was time for a little drugstore splurge. I also somehow found myself in a Lush store, which resulted in me spending a bit more money than I intended to.

Looking at it now it really doesn't seem like I bought that much in Boots, I think it felt like a bit of a splurge at the time because I ended up buying another eyeshadow palette that I didn't need. I almost bought the Smashbox Travel-Size Full Exposure Palette when I was in New York but managed to convince myself that I didn't need it. Ever since then I've regretted not buying it so when I saw that Boots were offering double points when you bought it I couldn't resist.

I got a Biore Charcoal Pore Strip free in an American magazine and found that it worked so much better than the original pore strips, so when I saw that they were being sold here I had to pick a box of them up.

I recently ran out of my Origins GinZing Eye Cream, despite absolutely loving it I'm not prepared to spend that much on an eye cream again just yet. I decided to try out the Superfacialist by Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Eye Cream in the hope that this is a drugstore alternative to the Origins one.

A pretty boring but necessary purchase was the Barry M All In One Basecoat Topcoat and Nail Hardener.

It's been such a long time since I bought anything from Lush so I decided to repurchase a couple of old favourites. I got a big bottle of the Tea Tree Water, this is so refreshing on the skin especially at this time of year. I also got Ocean Salt which is a great scrub for the face and body. A new purchase was the Mask of Magnaminty, I've only ever tried the fresh face masks from Lush but I thought I'd go for something different this time.

I'm hoping that this will be the end of the haul posts for a while. I need to get into the habit of saving my money instead of spending it!
